Gone are the days of providing year-end Payment Summaries (formerly known as group certificates) to employees.
Already mandatory for businesses with 20 or more employees, from July 1, 2019 all businesses must embrace and become compliant with Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting.
For some businesses this will only mean changing year-end processes and configuring applicable payroll settings. For others it will mean abandoning existing software and paper methods and adopting a whole new system.
To assist your business with the challenges faced by STP reporting, LDB is running an information session and workshop.
We will explain the reasons behind the move towards STP reporting and demonstrate how to configure your existing solution in order to become compliant (Xero and MYOB). We will also share a demonstration of a lower cost solution (Intuit) for those of you who might need to update from a non-compliant solution.
